Rainham marshes RSPB summer meet 09

After the cold winter meet up, we brief discussed on the Strumpshaw Fen meet a trip this July. There will be a good chance of Water voles, almost certainly good views of marsh frogs. Hobbies have been seen daily recently, and there will be dragonflies and damselflies all round the boardwalk if the weathers up to it. The site also has some scare emerald damselflies so we stand a good chance of getting something

I was thinking Sat 11th or Sun 12th July - unless anyone wants to suggest another date?

I'm not promising anything but I was hoping to go to Hobjobs that weekend. I have to check with work if I can have a couple of days holiday around that time and if I can I then need to find out if David is up for this meet.

If all comes together ok I hope to be there.

I'm a probably for that week-end -- is it one day or two?

There are a couple of family issues that might interfer,
but hopefully not.

The chances are that John and I will come in my camper
and then look to do something on the other day.

I was thinking just the one day, dont think it a place worth visiting for two whole days. Ive got some ideas for other sites nearby and a bit fuurther a field in Essex

Sorry Neil, but I can't make that weekend. My son Tom is first violin in the Bexley Concert Orchestra and they have a concert at Fairfield hall on the Sunday. Plus Dad's taxi is booked for rehearsals on Saturday too.

I too am busy that weekend helping out at a dressage competition arranged back in the winter. Shame as I really enjoyed our last outing. At least you won't keep tripping over Dave now during one of his laying down photo shoots.
