Devon meet

Not sure how many of us there are from devon on here but perhaps we could arrange a meet.

None of my mates are even remotely interested in wildlife, photography etc so it would be nice to meet some likeminded people.

Think I'd suggest a place and date and see what you get. Some of us are prepared to travel around a bit, particularly if we know a WAB member knows the area.

As for the place there are only a few places i know, 1 is stover country park and the other is haldon forest, there is also dartmoor which i don't know so well, shamefull as i've lived here for 23yrs

I'll leave the date, if there's any interest we can find a date thats good.

I like the stretch of coast Hartland to Ilfracombe particularly Morte Ho to
Lee. My next visit will be end of June/July 'cause I will be down at Slapton
in June around the Ley and the beach

Slapton ley is another place i'd like to visit, it looks like a really nice place.

Sounds a good idea depending on where u decide to go and whether I can get there on my motor scooter or if not whether the other half will let me have the car

I'm open to suggestions on places to go, as i say i have only been to a few places so anywhere new would be great.

Stover and Haldon are the ones I know too been to Stover a couple of times.Went last week with my daughter but Halden is lovely and I have only been there once. Would love to go again. I met a wabber there then and it was lovely.You don't see her on here now, I think she is probably very busy with her photography, and I know I can get there on my bike as I went last time.

Combine the two with a course at the fsc field centre or just camp at the Camping and Caravanning Club site

Yeah i haven't been to haldon for a long time, and i didn't explore much last time. It alot bigger than stover and the other local reserves.
