Well I'm disappointed with the lack of correspondence between the staff at the fen and myself. I know they're probably too busy to reply to some 'oik', but surely a small reply with some links could've been sent Still got zilch.

Nothing from the reserve but then I've been there so many times that I know the place really well and where the best areas are for all the species.

Have a look further up the thread Nick, we may have found a decent campsite.

This should be a cracking meet, there's very few reserves as good as Strumpshaw and Upton fens at that time of year.

I hope we get someone who's good at ID'ing Orchids, there are plenty growing in the meadows at Strumpshaw, I know Marsh Helleborine is one of them as someone pointed it out to me last year.

As for the rest of them, I wouldn't have a clue, my botanical knowledge is about as good as my cooking, and I've been known to burn water

I have searched for this wildlife site, it sounds interesting, I mainly come up with some strange folk going on about arranging a meet there.
