I'm certainly going to camp Gill, just a matter of where at the moment, but there's plenty of time to sort that out.
I have a generator and mothing gear and quite fancy catching a few Norfolk moths, as for the "things"? whatever it may be, then I'm in!

I'd be happy enough with that, but somewhere with running water and loos would be preferable
A good chippy, Chinese, or Indian takeaway and pub close by would be even better

Possibly 3 to 4 days myself, although we are only planning the meet for the Saturday and Sunday.
I have a serious addiction to Odonata which hasn't got any better over the last 15 years so when I'm somewhere as good as Strumpshaw it really is a battle to get me to leave

odonata are magnificent things. so fantastic for photography as well. dramatic and beautiful, still one of my favourite orders. sorry, i'm gushing

If you think like that Adam, you are going to love Strumpshaw and Upton fen, they are brilliant Odonata filled reserves.

On the subject of campsites I think I may have hit on one that has potential.
Looking at the map this site is on the edge of Norwich, just off the A47 and is only around 10 - 12 miles from Strumpshaw, it has great facilitys and its right next to a river.

The Camping and Caravanning Club - SiteSeeker - Details - Norwich

I have stopped at Caravan and Camping club sites before and have always found them to be well run, excellent quality and most importantly the facilitys are well maintained and very clean.
I have stayed at smaller private sites where you have wear wellies to use the loos or showers!!
