| | | Landguard Common Meet Oct 10th I am arranging a meet at Landguard Common Nature reserve for Oct 10th.
I know it may be a problem for some people being a Friday but weekends are a problem for me due to children.
The reserve is a great place for bird and plant lovers and in October alot of migrating birds drop in so you never know what might turn up
Here is the latest bird news for the reserve http://www.lbo.org.uk/89970.html |

| | | Re: Landguard Common Meet Oct 10th I may be hobbling about with Policemans Heel if it hasn't gone by then
It is not a big place so no miles of hiking is involved |

| | | Re: Landguard Common Meet Oct 10th Would anybody be interested in following up Landguard with a visit to Trimley Marsh?
I was down there yesterday, picked up the Dotterel at Landguard (a "lifer" for me) as well as a sprinkling of more common migrants. No Honey Buzzards alas, but between Landguard and Levington I saw: 2 Sparrowhawks, 2 Peregrines, 3 Hobbys, a Marsh harrier and a Common Buzzard, and added Pied Flycatcher to my River list. Can't complain about that, eh?
Mrs f. - Policeman's heel? Sounds painful, whatever that is. Does it rule you out from TM?

Also it depends on how long it takes to find one of 29 Stinking Goosefoot plants , which I couldn't find when there on holiday, I didn't even see the Wryneck which I must of passed within feet of
Glad you got down there to see the "Resident" Dotterell |
