National Moth Night Event in Dorset

Saturday 7th June.
Investigate a number of traps and wine ropes placed around the Centre and nearby Nature Reserve, whilst contributing to the National Survey.9pm to midnight.Fee £5 per Adult and £2.50 per child this also includes, entrance, refreshments and a bacon sandwich on the Sunday at midday.


Sunday morning, 9 am to midday, we will check the traps and see what we caught. Fee £5 per Adult and £2.50 per child this also includes refreshments and a bacon sandwich.

Meet at The Kingcombe Centre cap park, please drive carefully on the lanes approaching the Centre and please only park in our car park. There is disabled access to most of the traps and we have an electric tramper if needed which can be booked. The Centre can be accessed from A356 Maiden Newton to Crewkerne.
