May Half Term Family Events
A series of events for families throughout the week.
Tuesday 27th May An Introduction evening to Bats with a walk and bat detectors and see our roost emerge. Adults £3 Children £2
From 8.30pm - 10.30pm Booking essential.
Wednesday 28th May 10am – 2pm With Georgie Corrywright a trained registered medical herbalist. Healing herbs for children. Investigate the healing properties of common herbs, careful collection of herbs and the chance to make a skin salve to take home. All materials for the salve included in the price. Booking essential, £12 per child, accompanying adults free.
Lunch can be bought at The Centre £6 per head
Wednesday 28th May 2.15pm The mammals of Kingcombe. An introduction to the mammals of the area, including the running of small mammal traps and searching for the signs of mammals which may be too big for the trap!! Followed by cream tea at The Centre .

Thursday 29th May. Badger walk. A walk to observe a badger sett and a chance, hopefully, to see them acting naturally. From 8pm at the centre, only the patient need apply, be prepared to sit for a while in a field as the sun sets. Booking essential. Adults £3 Children £2
Friday 30th May **NEW** 10am departure A family walk to Powerstock Common around the common and back to The Centre or around 4pm total distance about 5 miles. The plan is to be out all day so bring lunch with you. Lunch can be bought from The Centre @ £6 per head. Booking essential. Adults £5 Children £3
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
