| | | Lee Valley Wildlife Weekend 26 & 27 April
The NEW Lee Valley Spring Wildlife Weekend will take place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 April at the Regional Park’s, Waterworks Nature Reserve, Leyton, E10, and it's free entry.
Simon King and Chris Packham will also be present.
The redkites.net stand will be present for the whole weekend, on-hand to answer any questions about The Red Kites in the Chilterns. Hope to see you all there! |

Missed this when first posted. It does sound interesting and not too far from me either. I can't go on the Saturday but the Sunday is a distinct possibility.

We will also be coming down, have booked a youth hostel so will be staying over. Hopefully Jack (22 months old) will go back to sleep on the 3 hour drive!

Lee Valley have, in the past, had a bird fair, but decided this year to change the format into a 'Wildlife Weekend'. With entry being free, let's hope it attracts lots of people!

Just a quick reminder, the wildlife weekend takes place tomorrow and Sunday. It looks as though the weather may stay dry too!.

Sadly, despite booking accomodation etc. we had to pull out last minute due to Jack (22 months) getting a stomach bug
