| | | Re: WAB at Minsmere 19/20th April 08 Oh well, this weekend could be interesting. How to watch birds in freezing cold, wet & windy conditions.
Never mind it still should be a good un.
See you all tomorrow morning in the car park.

I would have made the journey myself tomorrow but work commitments stand in the way of that one.
Don't worry about the weather, the forecasters are more than often wrong!!
Look forward to seeing the images.

| | | Re: WAB at Minsmere 19/20th April 08 I have just rung hobjob (David) and it has been sunshine all day. It is cold and very windy but clear.
These easterlies have a good chance of bringing something useful in so we must keep our eyes peeled.

Won't we have fun!

| | | Re: WAB at Minsmere 19/20th April 08 As Mrs Fish has already said, the WAB Minsmere meet of today was excellent.
Despite the cold wind, we all enjoyed ourselves and saw some wonderful birdlife.
It was lovely to finally meet some of our fellow WAB'rs, you're a great bunch.
I'd like to say thank you to Hobjob for being such a good host and to Mrs Hobjob for a lovely meal.
We are now looking forward to the Priory Water meet.

| | | Re: WAB at Minsmere 19/20th April 08 I've attached a pic taken yesterday during the WAB meet.
It's not the greatest of images but I think it captures the spirit of Minsmere.
Thanks again to everyone we met yesterday, Anita and I really enjoyed the day.

| | | Re: WAB at Minsmere 19/20th April 08 Hi all! We're back. What a wonderful weekend. Thank you Teresa for arranging the whole event...we throughly enjoyed all of it.
And to David (Hobjob) and his super-woman wife for putting us up and lavishing us with scrumptious food.
And to John for imparting his extensive knowledge of birds....and where to look.
Later, I'll get some shots sorted and Wild-Man (Chris) will put his 3 Otters PLAYING OUTSIDE THE BITTERN HIDE SHOTS!!!!!!!!!!!
