| | | Meets for 2008? I have had a look through some of the threads on meets and wondered if there is a list of upcoming meets in 2008?
I was also interested in sites people have suggested for rockpooling - has there ever been a rockpooling meet? Wembury in Devon seems well favoured. I don't think you can beat the little stretch of rocky beach below the outdoor swimming pool at Penzance. Wonderful place where I found my first Montagu's Blenny.

| | | Re: Meets for 2008? Just bumping this thread up again, hoping you get a few folks out on a WAB meet.
I love rockpooling, but will not be able to get that far South this year.
For the last 2 years we have camped at Kingsbridge (Devon) and visited a couple of great beach/rocky coastlines.
I confess to not knowing what half of what I catch/see is but it's great fun trying to find something.

| | | Re: Meets for 2008? What about Kimeridge in Dorset? The Dorset Wildlife Trust have their marine reserve there, and they do lots of rockpooling.... Beautiful place as well, good for brown hares, wheatears and stonechats. Oh and skylarks...
