Sorry to hear that Linda's unwell and that you won't be at the meet Graham.

You'll be missed, I for one was hoping to pick your brains again!

Looking decent Jez, sunshine with some cloud cover for the Saturday and the chance of a light shower. Sunday more sunshine. That's if you believe them because you can look at several different sites on the net and they all give differing forecasts

Re: Thursley 2008

Gadzooks some urgent business has come up scuttering our plans for the meet! The weather sounds ideal, thanks for that Roger & I thought I was actually going to get the chance to meet so many merry members. I was really looking forward to this event as I also missed out at Priory also!!

Will look forward to next time now. With the weather strongly in your favour it's going to be a goodie.

Have a great time all and have a bottle of red for me please

HAPPY WABBING......

Jez

Re: Thursley 2008

I'm off to work for a part shift in a bit and then Tim and I will begin our long journey South later this evening.
Looking forward to this meet, it was superb last year.
Its going to be good to meet up with you all again, this time without the pressure of being the meet organiser (sorry Jules ), plus this time I get to take photos myself

Have a safe journey folks and I'll see you all at the Carpark in the morning

Re: Thursley 2008

Sorry guys, won't be able to make this one either. Was hoping to get down at least for sunday, but the girlfriend's dad is really bad & we don't want to travel too far away.

Hope you all have a good time, & hopefully all will be ok for next year.

Re: Thursley 2008

I'm still umming and arring... I really want to go, but the thought of 6 hours behind the wheel, then attending a party at 8pm sharp... I'll be driving for longer than I'll be WABbing, that is seriously depressing.

I can't get the map to work Jules It's just blank for me...so I don't have a clue where I'm going either,

I'm not sure it's a good plan for me anymore I guess i'll sit this one out, though I am annoyed because I'm missing out on lovely, lovely people.

Sorry chaps

Re: Thursley 2008

Sorry to hear so many people won't be able to make this meet, I'm sure it'll be a good one.

Nick, if you are seeing a blank map, look to the left, near the top of the page, you should see "find a map", enter GU8 6LN and click the find button, the map will appear.

If you need directions, go to the AA page and choose "find a route" (or similar), enter your home postcode, then GU8 6LN, it'll produce a route map for you.

Let's hope the weather holds up!

Dave

Re: Thursley 2008

The car's all packed (well, except for camera kit - it's not a bad neighbourhood but I'm not risking that!) and I'm off for an early night so I can get up when the alarm goes off tomorrow.

Sad that some people can't make it but there's still plenty of us who can so I'm sure it will be a great weekend!

See you tomorrow!
