We are quite happy to show individuals round as long as we have enough notice to organise it.

Steve | Thanks Steve thats a brilliant offer and one we will aim at fitting in as I was very impressed with Priory and as you might recall it was so hot and making me feel dodgy so I missed the white legged! We will give you a shout!!

| | | Re: Thursley 2008 Well. This looks like it's gonna be a good meet again. Glad there's lots joining up. Haven't had the time to catch the warden yet but I'll try in the next day or two, speak to Fourwings(our resident odonate expert) and sort the date for folks diaries.
It's a first class area for rarities and great for reptiles, heathland birds and bogplants like the sundew. So there's a bit to cover all interests.
We are looking forward to it and hope to meet some more fab WAB members.
Ps Let's hope there's no more trouble from foot and mouth as this closed the area last year.

Roger, you may have to navigate yourself to Thursley.
Keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be able to get to at least one meet. |

| | | Re: Thursley 2008 Right'o folks. We're setting the date for the weekend of the 12th July. We think we will see the peak of most species then and hopefully a lot of other heath loving invertebrates. We will travel down on the Friday evening and stay over at a nearby travelodge-cos we're lightweights and like a bed and shower!
I expect the usual hardy campers will pick a nice site for their curry feast!
I must say that last year's meet was wicked and very memorable. Something I'll never forget.
So come on folks-we're doing some SERIOUSLY good dragonflies!
JULY 12TH- THE BIG ONE!
Jules
