Chris Packham......

I would just like to thank Chris Packham personally for a superb evening tonight.

I along with the rest of my Countryside degree class enjoyed an evenings talk "Never mind the buzzards" with the superb Mr Packham at a posh private school in Cranbrook in Kent this evening....the place was packed and with his top humour crossed with excellent skills at making learning fun and interest we laughed and nodded approvingly through the entire evening...

Some of it was old news to me as i have read his also brilliant Back garden Wildlife book ...but overall a top night with a top bloke!..thanks Chris.

Dan
p.s..i forgot to ask while i was there? but has anyone bought the NOB dvd (thats Nature of Britian...tut tut )...and does it or does it not include the Chris Packham users guide progs?

Re: Chris Packham......

Damn, rumbled. Yes, Packham is just my stage name and my southern accent is just for the cameras. In reality I talk like Cyril Smith.

Regards, Chris

Seconded, brilliant man, and a local.
We had that talk a month or two back at an event, very good and funny. Was the salty "snot" included ?

I don't think it does but fear not Dan, the three disc set of NoB User Guides will be in the post to you end of next week (probably Friday 7th). Same arrangement as Thames Wildlife Super-Highway

Oh I meant to say - you may have seen Chris Packham but I saw Jimmy's missus of Jimmy's farm fame, at the good food show she's even more pretty in the flesh it has to be said you should immediately be very jealous.

Re: Chris Packham......

I watched the NOB user guide on TV last night, what a brilliant programme.
have never known anyone so passionate and so honest about British Wildlife.
I totally agree with him about how the things we are doing to bring back endangered wildlife etc is a total waste of time the way it is being done, and how easy his ideas and solutions are.
Its a shame more conservation bigwigs cant be as honest and open minded.
Cant wait for next weeks programme

Re: Chris Packham......

Its comforting to know you read none of my messages...i have been moaning for days about the BBC missing a trick and not including the chris packham shows on the NOB dvd.....

My guess is that both tit and pack shows will be repeated....or you might want to pm pressld and flutter those eyelashes
