| | Local WAB meetings Is there any planned WAB meetings in Scotland for 2008?
I live in Ayrshire and there are many places to visit that would be of interest to WABers. Maybe we could get something organised? What do you think?

| | | Re: Local WAB meetings I've met up with some WAB members but I don't know if it was considered as a WAB meet Mikeakabigman, Cybershot and I went on a fungi foray with our local group. It was excellent |

| | | Re: Local WAB meetings I've organised a couple of Dragonfly days for WAB for the past two Summers and they have been great fun, its great to be able to put faces to names etc.. and actually get to meet people that you have conversed on WAB with for months if not years
You dont have to aim for anything on a big scale, you could simply post that you are going to a specific reserve on a certain date and see what takes shape.
I know its a long way off but for those that are interested we aim to have another Dragonfly day at Priory Water again this coming Summer, but earlier in the season, sometime around late June/early July. Last year was very successful with well over 30 people attending so we thought we would try and aim for the peak of the Dragonfly season this time.
I will post details in Spring 2008

Steve. | A good idea Steve. I can't wait for the season to begin!
I think I'll try and arrange another one for the Heronry at Kings Mill. We had some fabulous sights there last year, well worth doing again. Only this time I'm restricting it to the Reservoir and the Heronry! |

There is one one Skye and one starting out from Lochcarron on the mainland and there may be one out of Glen Affric again this year. I guess the list of meets will be posted on BDS website shortly.
There is a weekend planned for Rhum this year, wild horses! ..........watch the BDS diary page for details | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
