| | | CLUMBER PARK Saturday Stu and I are planning on Clumber Park this Saturday. A couple of other WAB members have pencilled this in too, though I'll let them confirm on here should they wish.
Anyone care to join us for the day? |

Have yet to firm up times, will need to speak to Stu first. Should be a good day though.
Charlie is on a hen do in London town, so I have a pass out. |

A good place to meet would be at the main car park by the cycle hire or by the conservation centre next to the cricket ground.
It would be good to see everyone |

The main car park may be full but there's plenty of car parking by the cricket ground ... and almost anywhere else too really.
It should be a very good day. |

| | | Re: CLUMBER PARK Saturday no way...i thought we were all going to head off down the park at 10:30 on Saturday night to celebrate watching England thrash South Africa in the rugby world cup...I've even gone and spent £1.85 on a bottle of Blue Nun
Who on earth gets up before midday at the weekend? I might have to reconsider now |

| | | Re: CLUMBER PARK Saturday Had a good day on Saturday, it was a pleasure to meet Fungi John again who was with Les and his dogs. Made me feel like getting another dog myself, they're beautiful well trained animals; a real joy.
Stu and Andrew turned up rather late, not that it mattered, sitting in the beautiful sunshine and setting of Clumber Park.
It was good to see them again. There was no sign of eeyore or almostnormal, who we knew were coming so we set off to the shop area hoping to bump into them later. It was a good decision as we met them immediately!
I'm afraid anyone hoping for loads of photos from the meet will be disappointed, we were all far to busy having a good old natter to bother to take shots!
Take note any others for future meets, these are never serious photography exercises, they're just a good excuse to meet members of the site and have a good old chinwag!
After we'd all met, we got down to the serious business of queueing in the cafe for a drink and lunch.
Total shots taken so far..I think John took 1, Les took 1, and I took one of the cricket ground, for a reason that now escapes me!
We had another small walk around the lake side, when we spotted a gate post where someone had put some peanuts down and birds were coming regularly. I decided I had to take some shots, I mean, I've got to keep my 200+ a day average up..
Here's some of the shots I took. < | |
