| | | Re: CLUMBER PARK Saturday Had a good day on Saturday, it was a pleasure to meet Fungi John again who was with Les and his dogs. Made me feel like getting another dog myself, they're beautiful well trained animals; a real joy.
Stu and Andrew turned up rather late, not that it mattered, sitting in the beautiful sunshine and setting of Clumber Park.
It was good to see them again. There was no sign of eeyore or almostnormal, who we knew were coming so we set off to the shop area hoping to bump into them later. It was a good decision as we met them immediately!
I'm afraid anyone hoping for loads of photos from the meet will be disappointed, we were all far to busy having a good old natter to bother to take shots!
Take note any others for future meets, these are never serious photography exercises, they're just a good excuse to meet members of the site and have a good old chinwag!
After we'd all met, we got down to the serious business of queueing in the cafe for a drink and lunch.
Total shots taken so far..I think John took 1, Les took 1, and I took one of the cricket ground, for a reason that now escapes me!
We had another small walk around the lake side, when we spotted a gate post where someone had put some peanuts down and birds were coming regularly. I decided I had to take some shots, I mean, I've got to keep my 200+ a day average up..
Here's some of the shots I took.
My one Fungi shot, with the wide angle lens.
It was a good day with excellent company. Stu is full of excellent ideas for the Charity and the site, I just hope some of them come off, because if they do, we're in for an exciting future!
I just wish I was capable of walking further than we did, we hardly scratched the surface of Clumber. |

I managed 3 images ... 2 boring fungi images and this absolute cracker Wrong lens, wrong exposure, no filter, out of focus ... it's got the lot ... Don't you just love the sky
We leave the camera's at home the next time ... right

I really wanted to meet you all on sat but hubby was working and did not really want to bring my 7 year old with me to be running around.
Next time
