| | Emberton Country Park Meet I have just spent a fantastic four days at Emberton Country Park (Inlaws have static caravan there) and think it would be a brilliant place for a meet. Its is a haven for Dragonflies and Moths along with many other insects. Its also has Two herons that breed there and Kingfishers,Grebes and Cormerants..A hide for Bird watching... along with lots of ducks, canadian geese and a few assortmants of other water birds. the park covers 200 acres, and the walk around the perimeter of the 4 lakes is 1.8 miles,, a lot more if you go down all the various paths and the conservation area ( Not dogs allowed in this area) There river Ouse runs along the back of the site again with an abundance of Dragonflies.
We can book the small Rally field for our use only for £75 a night for the field (Bookings for minimum of 10 tents) But will hold a lot more.. or it is £7.50 per tent per night.. so the more that go the cheaper it is..
I have a few weekend dates for April that the field is available 4th - 6th,... 11th - 13th,.... 18th - 20th,.... 25th - 27th
or i can get dates for may or june if wanted.... they have got a small website but not much info on it.. But does give other places that can be visited close by Like 'The Blue Lagoon Nature Reserve'
Just Keyword EMBERTON COUNTRY PARK
If anyone is interested just let me know..
