| | | Badger Care Badger care is often difficult and time consuming, but thanks to some great charities we have some great badger care in Britain. The Badger Trust are trying to raise £50,000 as a matter of great urgency to support them in their fight to protect our badgers which are under immediate threat from the government granting licences to farmers to kill them.
Badgers are gentle, peaceful, private and much persecuted animals. It has been proved that badgers catch TB from cattle, not vice versa.
They are misunderstood. They have extended families, care for their young, bury their dead with ceremony, and deserve to be left alone.
They must be allowed to live in peace. Please, if you can spare even a pound, please help.
I don't know if I'm allowed to post this sort of thing on here, but I feel very strongly about it.

| | | Re: Badgers under threat That is absolutely terrible, do you know today on a drive to North Wales today on one stretch of dual carriageway going there we saw five dead badgers and one the way back another five all road kill I expect. That's ten dead Badgers in a day we saw. In the end I just kept covering my eyes and asking hubby was that another Badger. At this rate there aren't going to be any Badgers left. |

| | | Re: Badgers under threat Sixty two people have looked at this, and only two people could be bothered to say anything! I am really upset about this situation with the cruelty to badgers. I thought some of you might have taken a moment to say something to me about it. I have always tried to be supportive and kind to everyone here.
