| | Small Mammal Videos - Identification Here are two short videos shot in my garden in North Dorset at my small mammal feeding station. The feeder attracts a mouse during the night and a vole during the day. Can anyone please help to identify which mouse and which vole species are in these videos. Another question - Does anyone have any experience of whether mice and voles share the same tunnels? www.holiday-montenegro.co.uk/downloads/Vole.AVI www.holiday-montenegro.co.uk/downloads/Mouse.AVI |

| | | Re: Small Mammal Videos - Identification Your vole's a bit grainy, but I'll guess it's a field vole. Your mouse is either a wood mouse or a yellow-necked one. How nice to have them both visiting.
I'm sure all rodents share tunnels from time to time for access and escape. They wouldn't share a nest-burrow, though. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
