| | | Quick Q - Rules on releasing trapped vermin? Just wondered if anyone could advise please.
On another forum I use, a householder is asking for advice on clearing a mouse infestation in their home. Humane traps have been discussed, but one member has replied that it is illegal to release trapped vermin. I have asked them to quote the relevant legislation to back this claim. I know squirrels cannot be released, but not sure if this applies to a few house/wood mice, but stand corrected if anyone can confirm otherwise.
Thoughts/Advice welcome, thanks and Merry Christmas All!

It covers just about everything you should know about what's right or wrong so far as rodent control is concerned.
The short answer is that you can release trapped rodents, but it may not be the best thing to do. |

| | | Re: Quick Q - Rules on releasing trapped vermin? Thanks for that. Just checked the other forum again, and member posted a section of the wildlife and countryside act about releasing wild animals, but it refers to non-native species, not house/wood mice, so put them right!
Thanks for replying though! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
