| | | Mice in garage My neighbour has mice in her garage. I see no evidence of them in mine, except maybe for a burst bag of compost. I wouldn't mind them being there, unless they start to do damage. What things might they try to eat or gnaw? Apart from garden tools, there is a wooden hutch, some plastic bins, a few cables, cardboard boxes (empty), and a small shed. Inside the shed is a wooden table, plastic shelving and bottles (no foodstuffs or chemicals). |

When I had them in my shed they chewed everything! I'd have been happy to have them there otherwise.

Dave P. | Oh dear. Is there any chance I could confine them (if they do turn up) by giving them regular food and a nesting area? |

| | | Re: Mice in garage If you don't want them on your property, then I wouldn't start feeding them. Mice are "give them an inch and they'll take a yard" type neighbours.
We have wood mice in our greenhouse (they eat the bird food I store there) and I love them, but they did completely ravage my umbrella and picnic blanket. Bless them.
Anyway, if you keep your garage clear then you might get the odd visiting mouse but there's no reason to think they'll move in. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
