its also not likely that an animal that can see off a mountain lion would be likely to be chased by a couple of dogs - if it had been a wolverine chances are your dogs would have needed vetinary attention

We had a wolverine population in out local wood, but the Big Cats have wiped them out!

We don't have Wolverines or Big Cats in the Cairngorms. The Grey Man of Ben Macdui scared them all away.

It was a bit creepy and when it finally got dark I realised that if I did lose my nerve there was nowhere to run to, so I had to tough it out. I sheltered by the walls of the surveyor's hut, but it wasn't necessary because it was dead calm.
I did it because I wanted to watch the sunrise. It was pretty disappointing because of cloud on the horizon.
