| | | Re: wolverines? its also not likely that an animal that can see off a mountain lion would be likely to be chased by a couple of dogs - if it had been a wolverine chances are your dogs would have needed vetinary attention

It was a bit creepy and when it finally got dark I realised that if I did lose my nerve there was nowhere to run to, so I had to tough it out. I sheltered by the walls of the surveyor's hut, but it wasn't necessary because it was dead calm.
I did it because I wanted to watch the sunrise. It was pretty disappointing because of cloud on the horizon.
