| | Any advice? Hello all!
Ive just started taking a real interest in wildlife photography, I have bought a Nikon P90, and I was wondering how best to get started, Ive been wandering around the local woods and lakes but I cant seem to get any good photos any tips or advice |

| | | Re: Any advice? It's not easy this time of year, unless you've got a decent telephoto for birds and mammals, and the light is often poor ("A photo' taken on a dull day will generally be a dull photo'").
Spring and summer are easier, with plenty of flowers, insects and good light.

| | | Re: Any advice? Try sunsets, always a pleasure, fungi keep still and you can get some lovely photos of spiders webs in the frost when its frosty.

There are wooded areas there too have a look at what might make a good shot and experiment,
I took an interesting walkway and looking up into a tree.. |

| | | Re: Any advice? Something that I didn't do when I got my Canon was to find out fully what it was capable of and how the controls worked! Big mistake, because when the opportunity to take something good arose, I wasn't sure what I should do. So basically, practise everything- not necessarily wildlife, so when the chance comes along, you're prepared!
