| | | Re: formby N merseyside Go to the National Trust reserve (signposted if I remember), buy a bag of nuts from the parking kiosk and you raise your chances no end
They will point you in the best direction but we went a few years ago and had to wait 5 minutes untill we got to see one (several actually )
Good Luck

| | | Re: formby N merseyside Dont want to put you off but i was up there in spring and didn't see any. I'm not sure if they've succumbed to the dreaded squirrel pox. I recall seeing loads of reds a few years ago.
Its down victoria road i think. |

| | | Re: formby N merseyside I was told stick to the wooden walkway but I didn't initially and saw nowt for an hour. Then I went back to the walkway and saw a squirrel within about ten minutes. Ultimately it's just down to luck, but I do think they hang about the walkway because that's where they tend to get fed.
We only saw one and it was up in the canopy, it didn't come down, so look for movement above rather than at floor level. |

How did your trip to formby go. You certainly had a good day for it. I was out and about this morning just up the coast at marshside.
