Red Deer at Richmond Park

What a day i had at Richmond Park... I did not expect to have been able to have seen and heard them as i did... i took my binoculars..but did not need them.
In Richmond Park The Deer are used to having people around them.
I got there at about 8.00am so nice and early
I had only been gone for about 3 minutes into the Park when there right in front of me Stood this magnificent Stag.. he was just as interested in me, as i was in him..
I got to see them looking after their females. I could hear the stags bellowing out an echoing roar
And see them clashing there antlers. I had a fantastic day..... i hope you like the photos
Sorry they could have been better but the light was terrible that day

Super photos - I dont think it matters about the grey light, makes it more atmospheric...

You need to be careful with these chaps though - I once saw a photographer chased by a furious stag in Wollaton Park in Nottingham. The photographer had just got that little bit too close!!
