| | | white fox ! had a farmer come into the shop today - he told me that he seen a white fox last night while out lamping.
so i'm on a mission now to go find it for myself.
how rare are white fox's ?
i'm in Lincolnshire.

| | | Re: white fox ! Short answer: pretty darn rare. There are a handful of reports of white foxes in the UK literature and a couple of relatively recent threads here on WAB on the subject: White Fox (2006) Albino & Black Foxes in Britain (2008)
Good luck and, if you manage to get a photo, there are many people on here who would love to see it (myself included).

ta. | Did the farmer in question by any chance have something in his eye, or could it have been construed as a wink at the shop assistant?
I think you may have had your leg pulled.
And even if you have not I don't think you will be very welcome on the ground in question since it seems he does not share your love of foxes
Oh another thing - don't stare at the lamp - especially if you are lying down!
