| | | hog food No signs of hogs in garden thinking of having a long nap yet, just put this lot out and expect to fill them again befor bed, definitely eating a lot though at moment. .
Going to have to find some were to get cheaper meal worms next year though price has rocketed of late, wonder if this due to more people getting them to feed birds in winter oh and as well price going up pack size has gone down by 20grs MIKE |

| | | Re: hog food B and M were selling mealworms for £1.99 for I think 100 grams. If they have reduced them then that's a bargain. |

| | | Re: hog food I sometimes buy the dried mealworms to add to the bird seed mixtures on the bird table. Would hogs like these, or do they only eat the live ones? |

I had one that I had raised and when it was finally released I observed that each night it would do the rounds of the food dishes in my garden to hoover up the mealworms before anyone else could get them.
Never get into the habit of making them the main part of a meal, or you may experience mealworm rage if they can't find any!

| | | Re: hog food How absolutely true.
Made the mistake of only feeding our visitors dried mealworms up till now
(hedgehogs not humans ) - tried to bulk dish out with oats, sultanas, dried hedgehog food; was completely untouched.
Our three resident hedgehogs have expensive tastes. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
