| | | Creosote Am I correct in thinking creosote is illegal to use now? I was speaking to someone today and they said they pour creosote down badger setts on their estate and said "they don't like it but it doesn't kill them."
If this was genuinely happening would I be right to report it? To who?
Any help would be great as this is a little worrying, but I don't know how true it is.

Best to wait until you find evidence, then follow The Woodman's advice.

| | | Re: Creosote Report this at the earliest possible moment - it is intentional disturbance.
Even if there is no evidence or even if they were bluffing, report it all the same and let the police take it from there - your evidence is what was said to you, it is up to the police from then on to see if there is any truth to the story.

| | | Re: Creosote I agree with Neil, this is quite serious and is a breach of the wildlife and countryside act. Is the sett on public/accessible land? |

| | | Re: Creosote Aherm, and is creosote illegal to use? Obviously other than using it to decorate a badger's lobby.
