I hope the animals are given the priority. However, won't it now be the case that the strongest stags are selected for "target practice"? Or is this the norm anyway?

| | | Re: Beast of Bushy Park The more we invade their territory the more incidents like this will happen. Agree with Deb, animals should have priority, but I'm sure that as man and beast are gettin closer and closer in proximity, the animals will be forced to make way.
I was on a golf course in rutting season when two stags started scrapping on a fairway. Needless to say we waited for them!

| | | Re: Beast of Bushy Park It happens every year in Richmond Park and now Bushey. It amazes me that people are so naive that they actually approach theses large creatures despite warning signs. Now if was a wild boar or a black bear they would probably think twice but I guess the perception is it's only a deer and they are supposed to be friendly. |
