Horse colour queery

I agree with the others on Chestnut, Palomino and Dun. It's a lovely photo and the Chestnut is gorgeous.

Here's two of my old fella's, (Icelandic's). What colour would you call them? (I call them 'dark-brown').


Vinur and Saumur.

Agree with dark bay too. You can see the reddish tinge in the coat. Lovely ponies

A bay has black 'points' like a Siamese cat- ears, muzzle, legs, mane and tail; their body colour is dark brown or reddish-brown, while the buckskin has a light tan body colour with darker points.
