The ringwormy hedgehog in my care atm is the worst case of ringworm I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He's already lost the fur on his face, limbs and tummy, as well as large patches of spines. I think he's going to lose ALL of his spines before he begins a regrowth as all the skin under his spines is very crusted.
May need to put out an SOS for a hand-knitted hoggy coat at this rate! |

Its also awful when you give some anti-biotic cover and the spines you are holding to be able to subcut come away with a crust. Not a pleasant one to deal with.

The first time I pulled on some spines to inject abx, the entire patch of spines complete with crusty skin intact, came out in my hand  – I was rather startled to say the least! Was disgustin’!
