| | | Stoat attack This morning I was sat in my vehicle at the side of a field when I saw in the rear view mirror a rabbit run into the plough.
It was quickly followed by a stoat which slowly stalked towards it.
I grabbed the camera and leant across the passenger seat and hung out of the window trying to get a few shots of the saga going on behind me.
Managed a few poor quality shots which I thought a few of you might be interested to see.
The stalk
The attack
The good news is the stoat must have seen some idiot hanging out of the car window waving a camera about because it let go of the rabbit and ran back into the thick cover at the edge of the field.
The rabbit sat there for about 15 minutes then hopped off across the field. |
