| | | dissapearing hole A hole (burrow) suddenly appeared in one of my beds on a slight slope. I have tried to get out at dusk and dawn to see if I could spot the visitor. This morning I went out with a torch to check the garden, and the hole has been filled in (very neatly).
The hole was approx 6 inches in dia.
Any suggestions on what the visitor was and why was the hole filled in?
Thanks,
Brian |

| | | Re: dissapearing hole Possibly a Fox- they regularly dig holes in flowerbeds- possibly looking for earthworms, othertimes they cache food items. I've come across Canada Goose eggs that have been buried by Foxes several times + once found a drake Mallard that had been buried, with just his feet showing! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
