| | | Re: What's causing havoc in my garden??? Hmmm... I would be very surprised if it is a badger, as my garden is fenced pretty thoroughly. There are places where hedgehogs and foxes can pass in and out, but I cannot imagine a badger getting through these. I have seen foxes around, but I have never seen a badger in the garden. I suppose it might be possible for them to climb in and out over the compost heap at the bottom of the garden, if they were really determined.
Maybe I need to do a nighttime vigil! Or set up a camera trap. |

| | | Re: What's causing havoc in my garden??? My first thought was badger too...and you'd be surprised where badgers can get..Set up a night camera, you'd get some super pics, whatever it is. ..if you want to protect your pond-edge life, borrow an electric fencer and tape 2 rows around the pond, bottom row about 6 inches up from ground, and a row 6 or 8 inches above that. then feed the badgers outside of this area with peanuts (unsalted) etc... We await your pics ! ! Mammal of the day??
P.S. Don't set up the tapes without the electric though, 'cos they will get tangled up getting through it.

| | | Re: What's causing havoc in my garden??? Well, All Quiet On the Western Front at present... No night time visitations, deposits of poo, or digging in the garden, so the visitor remains a mystery.
My money is on fox though. I'll let you know if I ever see him! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
