| | | What is this Red Squirrel doing? I have just put this box up last week for Owls and for the last two days Ive noticed this Red Squirrel either nibbling or licking it. It has done it for over an hour both times I have seen it. Any one any idea why????

| | | Re: What is this Red Squirrel doing? Interesting! My best guess is that there's some sap/sugars leaking out of the wood and the squirrel is licking it up. Squirrels do sometimes strip bark to get at the sap underneath.
