| | | Found Rabbit I've posted a thread about a baby rabbit I have found its under general wildlife maybe it should have been on this one. Does anyone know of a wildlife rescue in South Yorkshire/ Nottinghamshire? I've tried 3 but got no reply, thanks Rach. |

| | | Re: Found Rabbit The vets only had the same numbers I had found, rang one lady who ran a wildlife rescue and she said she doesnt take rabbits as they have diseases, then put the phone down on me! Had some good advice from wildlife sos and tiggywinkles, I'll keep trying |

| | | Re: Found Rabbit Can anyone tell me what I should be trying to feed this bunny please, I have had so many people say try this n that I dont know what to do. Some say goats milk? kitten milk? sugary water? plain water? digestive biscuits? chopped grass/dandelion. I have given it plain boiled water up to now and tried it on grass but even though its picked up the grass I dont think its actually eaten any. Thanks x |

| | | Re: Found Rabbit I once successfully reared orphaned baby hamsters (dont ask, tragic family occurrence with bad dog) on puppy milk, which I bought in powdered form from the vet. |

| | | Re: Found Rabbit Where did you find it? I have had one the size of a ladies fist turn up in my caravan awning before now. Left alone (but with me watching) it hopped about 15mtrs. taking its time until it popped through a hedge. There was an established system of runs through the hedge, both through and along the length of the hedge.

| | | Re: Found Rabbit Thanks, found it in my horses field, it had an injury to its head so cleaned it up and put it back down a hole, went to check it the next day and found it out of the hole next to its mum and other babies that had all sadly been ripped up by a dog (probably land owners spaniel) Its eyes are open and its lively, couldnt leave it as its way too young. I've tried loads of rescues but to no avail. Thanks x | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
