Baby Rabbits

For the last 10 years we have always had a minimum of 2 rabbits in the garden - a maximum of about 7 when they have had young.
Last year all our rabbits disappeared - probably a mixture of road casualties, predators and moving on, and I really missed having them in the garden.
Anyway, early this year a lone rabbit appeared and has been here for about 2 or 3 months - I felt a bit sorry for it as they are usually quite social animals, so was very surprised on Friday morning when I looked out into the garden to see her with 4 tiny rabbits out and about - one with a white face. They weren't out for long - maybe 10-15 minutes.
I have been looking out for them since then but to no avail. Are they likely to go back to the 'burrow' for any length of time once they have been out - just a bit concerned about them.

Oh yes, the baby Rabbits will spend quite a lot of time in their burrows - I was watching some last year where the burrow entrance was in a hollow in the ground. The young ones would just stick their heads "above the parapet" and occasionally venture out - but would scarper back double quick if anything alarmed them.

My OH has said he's just chased off a cat which was sitting at the edge of the bed where we think the burrow is

- we haven't seen a cat in the garden for months and months, and suddenly one appears just when there are baby rabbits about!
Don't really hold out much hope any have survived.
