Is this a shrew please
Hi I took these pretty poor pics today in an open meadow very overgrown with long grass and undergrowth.
Question is it a shrew?? If not can you please id this critter for me please.
About 3 inches long excluding tail. and about 1 inch wide. tail was about 2 and a half inches long.

Looks like a shrew to me. A pygmy shrew is much smaller.
