| | | Re: Hedgehog poo, possibly? I'm ashamed to say we don't have a front garden - we paved it for our car. (I know, it's really bad and we shouldn't have done it. But we were having trouble parking in the street - lots of petty vandalism from drunk people going past from local club.)
But we have made the back garden as wildlife-friendly as poss, with a big pond and a stream and a compost heap and lots of flowers staggered to bloom through the year and no chemicals at all and a wood pile and stones and an apple tree. I keep the bird feeder well-stocked and the pond has a ramp at one side so anything falling in can climb out again.
Anyway, no joy with the camera but I think I put it too near the house. I'll try again tonight well up the lawn. I would be ecstatic if hogs moved in. |

You can still put a flower pot saucer of waterin the front even if paved over. You never know, there may be a grateful hedgehog passing.

OK, not the best pic ever, but it's clear enough. I think this is mum.
I also inadvertently provided breakfast for a cat and a magpie. |
