Question Were we visited by a hedgehog?
I found some animal faeces in our hedgehog feeding station this morning and quite a lot of black and grey hairs around the food left for the hedgehogs. Does this seem to be evidence of a hedgehog eating the food, or of some other animal visiting? Initially I thought the hairs might belong to a cat, but I don't think one would be able to get into the station. I'm attaching photos and would really appreciate some opinions, if anyone thinks they know.

Agree hedgehog have been visting you. Thats hedgehog scat I have a few youngs ones comeing in my garden most nights have found if you have food out for them they will be back also dont forget some water for them.
