Red Squirrel Locations
Hi

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could photograph a red squirrel, I live in Derbyshire where they can no longer be found. Is there anywhere close that I may be able to find one?

Hi,

The closest place that I know of is Formby, just South of Southport on the West coast.

They are definitely there, coz I saw them myself earlier in the year

Formby is wonderful. Are the squirrels recovering from the squirrelpox epidemic that devistated their numbers?
Formby is also good for natterjack toads on the sand dunes.
