| | | Re: skull I. D. please An idea of size might help, but my first impressions is it is not a skull. Looks more like a pelvis or similar to me. The central portion of the first photo looks like it has vertibrae running through the middle. But then, I'm far from an expert on these things. I love this type of post and I await further replies with interest. Would love to be proved wrong if anyone has other ideas!

| | | Re: skull I. D. please You know I've just realised what it reminds me of - when my lot have demolished a roast chicken (we had one last night). Now, a size indicator might suggest what sort of bird, although probably difficult to be precise. Could be a discarded chicken carcass or a predated wild species. Where did you find it? |

| | Re: skull I. D. please Thanks for the quick reply. it was found in a new allotment that we have taken over along with a cat skull. and there were chickens or ducks on it originally
