| | | Locking threads I see that my badger thread has been locked and I guess it was down to things starting to heat up a little. I can see why this was done, but I was thinking is there not a better way of dealing with such threads? Importantly to me I was still receiving really good advice on this thread and now I will get no more because of it becoming locked. Every thing was fine until one individual came in and upset the Apple cart. Now because of this I feel like I am losing out and it wont matter a jot to the person who I see has caused it to be locked. Would it not be fairer to punish the person or persons involved in future? I dont know the answer, but as a suggestion to the Mods could a Yellow and red card scheme not be brought in to people who like to cause trouble? I understand its not an easy one to deal with, but I felt something needed to be said. I hope a Moderator can take the time to give us his/her thoughts on this. Thanks

| | | Re: Locking threads I would just like to add my support to you Fudgey. I have no advice to offer you, but I have been following your thread with interest as I have badgers in my private woodland. It's a shame that one person can cause so much disturbance. I hope it all goes well for you.

| | | Re: Locking threads Thank you so much Jan. I have been a member of this forum for over 2 years now and posted over 1000 times. In this period I have had so much great advice and I would just like to add that the Badger thread has helped me more than any other. These forums are almost full of great helpful people who i truly admire. Once again a huge thanks to every single one of you that have helped in any way On the whole the support has been fantastic.

| | | Re: Locking threads I found your thread closed this morning Fudgey - its more likely that its been closed because the thread is discussing law and an open on going case, rather than idiotic answers by someone - that usually results in the person being frozen rather than the thread closed. No-one wants you to base your thoughts and responses on the rest of us making suggestions - what you need is a solicitor and don't say anymore until you have! You being honest and open won't necessarily result in justice - you need to get this case done and dusted not get embroiled in the a law system that doesn't always support the truth or come up with the right solutions. PLease get yourself a barrister/solicitor and start protecting yourself so that you don't carry the can for something you haven't done ....... |

You are also making unsubstantiated claims about the farmer, and it is dodgy ground.
I do however think you were trolled too, and that is what probably ultimately led to the thread closing, as it wasn't going anywhere.
I am sure you can see from the replies who, and who doesn't, have a clue and you may wish to correspond with them privately, as there was some sound advice.
On the troll - I kind of laugh it off now. Remember that you are just a pawn in their silly game. None of us know this individual but a few of us have spoken at lengths and we all had the same mental picture of them. Let it slide mate. They're not worth it.

| | | Re: Locking threads Agree with Pauline and Boddie here as this is an active 'case' I think you're probably far better off speaking to a professional for advice than an open forum really especially as you might get really good sounding advice that is technically unusable or just plain wrong when you try to use it.
Wishing you all the best with this and I hope it all gets dropped soon. (I'm sure it will be)

| | | Re: Locking threads For exactly the reasons stated above both threads were closed.
Some latter posts were also removed because of their obvious 'troll' content.
I shall now close this thread to avoid further 'negative' trolling, and repeat the sound advice given:
Seek professional help and meantime avoid situations where you could possibly jeopardise any defence.
Good luck!
