| | My first wild fox I've not posted on here for quite awhile
Anyway i wanted to share my first ever picture of a wild red fox with you all, it was a chance encounter and i could of quite easily missed it. The shot isn't perfect as i was some distance away with the lens on max reach but i was buzzing with excitement after i took it and i'm so pleased i managed to get a photo of one in the wild and is another mammal to tick off the list (plenty more to get though!).
I know i promised MarcB a photo of a fox waaay back in 2007 and i'm grateful for him featuring one of the few shots i got for last months homepage update.

| | | Re: My first wild fox Thanks guys.
Now i know where one of the fox highways are it should (in theory) be easy to spot it again with a bit of luck. I've been reading Martin Hemmington's excellent book: Foxwatching in the shadow of the fox which has lots of great info when it comes to observing wild foxes.

Saw my first truly wild fox yesterday hunkered down in some long grass, brilliant to see them acting as they should in the wild as opposed to stalking the streets.
Nice one | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
