| | | Urban Foxes in Glasgow Hi guys,
It's been far too long since I've been active on here I'm sure you'll agree! I was hoping someone on here might be able to help me, I'm working on a project for 2020VISION (which some of you may have heard of, if not take a look at the website or facebook group to see the great work) and have been tasked with photographing urban wildlife as I'm currently studying at university in Glasgow. I live in the west end of the city and have had plenty of glimpses of urban foxes late at night, however, I was hoping to try and get some photographs now that we're heading towards early summer.
I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere in Glasgow where they are regularly seen or have an active den as it'd be great to get some shots with the cubs too. I understand this is a sensitive issue and if anyone would like to help feel free to send me a private message instead. If anyone has any other good sites for seeing any urban wildlife I'd be more than delighted to hear.
Cheers,
Fergus |

Fergus | A few places come to mind to at least see adults. Kelvingrove Park and the Nercropolis up by the Royal Infirmary. You should be able to see them here in the early evening though I wouldn't recommend visiting these places on your own or when it gets too dark for obvious reasons.
Just joined the 2020VISION facebook group too |

| | | Re: Urban Foxes in Glasgow There's a regular fox that checks the bins at Knightswood pond at dusk (Archerhill road). Quite a bold thing too...and it's very interested in the swans! I know as I tried to take a picture of it last night at around 10pm but even at ISO 1600 the shutter speed was still too low for a decent picture. |
