Veg patch decimated - Can you identify these droppings ? more pics added

I am in need of help !

Proudly started off my new veg patch at home 2 months ago and it was coming along fine then over the last two nights something has eaten virtually all of my leave crops. I am unable to identify the droppings - not a nice topic i know but would like to know what animal it is so i could take measures.

Hard luck over your seedlings - looks as if some of them might survive if you can protect them quickly. I can't say that I recognise the droppings but the defoliation looks much like the work of wood pigeons. Quite easy to keep off if you get a piece of netting and suspend/spread it a few inches above the growing plants.

Like Paul I reckon it could be the work of pigeons, they love brassicas, beetroot and lettuce type plants, I net or cover with pea sticks.
