Veg patch decimated - Can you identify these droppings ??

Hello There

I am in need of help !

Proudly started off my new veg patch at home 2 months ago and it was coming along fine then over the last two nights something has eaten virtually all of my leave crops. I am unable to identify the droppings - not a nice topic i know but would like to know what animal it is so i could take measures.

Never seen any Pheasant. Are they nocturnal and would they eat veg leaves ?? they never touched my toms or beans ?

No Grouse either. Just never thought a bird would swoop down at night and eat all my leaves like a rabbit possessed !

I do have a pair of wood pigeons in the trees at the end of my garden but during the day they just wander on the lawn. Do the extra pics i added of the damaged crops look like bird abuse ?

Hi

The pictures of your veg looks similar of what has happened to mine, but I just assumed it was the work of slugs and/or snails. If you look closely at the leaves (or what's left of them, sorry ) can you see any tell-tale "snail-trails" as I call them.
