| | | fox problem,,, Well not mine but it might be if my neighbour tells me off again,,,uuugggg
Ok for a couple of years I have been feeding an old fox and my neighbour told me off but im being sneaky and putting the food out my side window then going out the door and round the building to retreive it then putting it in his bowl,,that way my neighbour doesnt see me take any food out,,,,
,,,anyhow recently there have been brown patches appearing on our joint front lawns and i know exactly what it is,,its obviously fox urine,,Im waiting for him to explode and I cant blame him tbh because its honestly unslghtly.
Thing is its not my fox who is doing it cos my fox is a male and he cocks his leg against a hedge, tree, wall whatever,,,so its a female fox who is doing it. What the devil can I do about this because I know its going to cause trouble!!
Thing is my male fox is so sweet I dont want to stop feeding him! |

I know im silly,,my head tells me to scream at him to scare him away but my heart wont let me,,,thing is there wasnt a problem before this female one came along who is soiling the grass,,and its bad believe me!! |

| | | Re: fox problem,,, I think it would be unusual for a fox to kill a cat, but they do kill pet rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and chickens.

| | | Re: fox problem,,, So now your neighbour will ring the council and your friendly old fox will end up in a live trap, and have his brain blown out by a .410 shotgun. Littlesparrow has the right of it I'm afraid. All you have done is make "your" fox into an easy victim.

| | | Re: fox problem,,, I accept that the dog fox is unlikely to be the culprit. The trouble is that now he is accustomed to being fed he will be easy to catch. Neither your neighbour nor the council pest controller will make fine distinctions. Their approach will be "It's a bloody fox. Kill it." I have to say that people who feed urban foxes are doing them no favours at all.
I an not attacking you personally, but I do wish people would think through the consequences of their actions.
