Is this hair stained?

Found plenty of examples of this yesterday, I think it's badger scat but none of it was in a latrine. It was a weird shape too - almost rectangular in shape.

What is the fur in it? Is it black and white or is some of the white hair stained by the scat?

Looks like rabbit fur to me.

Badgers only use latrines near to the sett, but when out ranging or foraging some distance from the sett, they'll 'go' wherever the need arises, but by preference by backing up to a corner (rock, log, etc).

This could possibly however also be from a dog, cat or fox.
