| | | Polecats - N Hertfordshire Anyone noticed a big increase in roadkill Polecats lately? I've recorded 9 in less than 3 months up and down the A1 in Hertfordshire.
I've participated in the VWT polecat monitorying surveys in past years, so I keep an eye out for polecats on the side of the roads. The last few months seem to be exceptionally high compared to previous years.

| | | Re: Polecats - N Hertfordshire Though that is a sad statistic- hopefully it's also indicative of a thriving expanding population. It's one of the UK mammals I've yet to see.
I believe they bred at College Lake a couple of years back. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
